  • "Dr. Hall is fantastic. I went to her after I was diagnosed with prediabetes. I did not want to start on medications. In 3 months of working with Dr. Hall on improving my diet and activity level, I lost 15 pounds and fixed my blood sugar! I have learned so much from her about what healthy eating really looks like, and I am excited to continue working on my health and longevity with her."

Kathryn Hall, MD, DipABLM

After studying medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Hall completed her anesthesia residency and subsequent fellowship in obstetric anesthesia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

While practicing anesthesia and observing the impact of chronic disease on patients undergoing surgery and childbirth, Dr. Hall became committed to understanding disease prevention. As healthcare providers we are quick to jump to medications and procedures rather than focus on root causes of illness. This is not for a lack of interest or education, but rather a lack of time in the current healthcare environment.

As her interest in chronic disease prevention grew, Dr. Hall became a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine physician in 2023.

Lifestyle Medicine is a modern movement in healthcare focused on evidence based approaches to improving health and longevity.

Dr. Hall specializes in Women’s Health, pregnancy, diabetes, and weight management.

The Six Pillars of Health

Nutrition · Movement · Sleep · Avoidance of Substances · Social Connection · Stress Management

Lifestyle Medicine uses evidence-based interventions to address the root causes of chronic disease. When implemented, Lifestyle Medicine can prevent, treat and even reverse these conditions without medications.

What is Lifestyle Medicine?

“Approximately 80% of chronic disease and premature death could be prevented by not smoking, being physically active, and adhering to a healthful dietary pattern. Cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, dementia, and cancer are all influenced by lifestyle choices.”
